Greens failing to deliver - 9 Sep 2010 The recent State budget process has highlighted the failure of Nick McKim and the Tasmanian Greens to deliver on many of their election commitments.
When I first realised that Nick McKim would be given the Climate Change, Sustainable Transport and Alternative Energy portfolios I had high hopes for the outcomes he might deliver on behalf of the environment but so far Nick McKim has been a complete disappointment.
Labor/Green commitment to lightrail dubious - 9 Sep 2010 Despite the Labor/Green Government's announced feasibility study into the Northern Suburbs Lightrail there are signs to suggest that the Government's true commitment to the project is dubious.
Lets hope this is not the case and that the Government moves swiftly to test the business case for the project as well as assessing other transport options for Hobart.
